There was never any suggestion of all-BMW engines, the V8 has been in the offing for a few years. |

I’m interested in the D350 which on paper has similar power to my existing TDV8. Good torque figures for a 3 litre and reasonable on consumption. |

It was Craig who was saying all BMW engines.
It always seemed unlikely given JLR had just invested heavily in their own straight sixes but I'm sure Craig posted it in good faith, and to be fair there is an engine/electrification agreement between BMW and JLR. |

I have now seen this in the metal and I have to say, in person rather than in photos, this things looks amazing. It looks MASSIVE, but reading through the dimensions its only a cm here and a few cm there.

I am glad it is not only me who thinks the stuck on iPad thingy is silly! Not only does it look like an afterthought but if you are tall it seems it will hide some of the other instrumentation. This badly thought item alone would stop me spend north of £84k on the new FF. For that sort of money I want something I really like. But the stuck on "iPad" thing would annoy me every time I used it. But like the OP, I do quite like the rest of the car. 2010 Range Rover TDV8 Baltic Blue Autobiography (2011 MY) - SOLD 1960 Land Rover SII SWB SW 2020 BMW R1250 RT LE 2021 Triton ST-125 (Monkey Bike) |
