Hi all,
I have seen postings here which refer to the diagnostic tool to version 2765. The updater tool i have on the computer reads that I'm update however its well short of 2765 as has appeared in postings relating to removing the fearful "PDF" IS full. message!! I cannot see any thing helpful on the Gap site and have asked the question on it, but would appreciate any help from the guys here how have managed to do the updates. My FFRR is 2010-2012 which may be the problem? I am OK at the moment as a amber warning appeared recently but which i was able to clear by using the sports mode and a few high revs. Short journeys are difficult to avoid in Somerset here.

Any help greatly appreciated.

delete the updater, clear any cache and re-load the updater. ... - .- -.

Version 2765 is only available to people with Beta access , which Pat at Gap controls.
He agreed to give me Beta access when he was looking for “Guinea Pigs” to test out the newly developed DPF Regeneration functions.

I have it downloaded on my “tool” and have used it a couple of times to test it works OK.
I have written a couple of posts on here detailing how well it works .

You will have to contact Pat directly by email if you want Beta access .

Thanks Stan and Mike for the messages. I will try deleting the updated approach initially as I suspect there are some updates prior to the beta one. Re the PDF Full issue I am note sure where the FFRR here is placed as my previous Independent garage fitted several new sensors over a two year period. I understand now that they have not been the only ones in this. Hopefully they fitted the later sensor in the correct place last time fixing the problem. As said forced short journeys in my case doesn’t help but the RR is great so so be it!

Well reloaded the updater tool and again found the message that the tool was update at V400.00 B2742. perhaps Pat will confirm that in a response to my query on the Gap site? I'll worry about a beta version should a "red warning" appear and I hope I have not tempted providence.

Just to clear up one point - you don’t need sports mode and high revs to force a regen. You need more than a quarter of a tank of fuel and travel at over 50mph for as long as it takes for the light to go out. If you drop below 50 the regen pauses so you don’t lose any reduction in soot levels earned up until that point. Bish.

I know you are right in what you say and am I guilty of silly short runs: some 1 mile and then return. However the amber message has come up and I have to wonder if in my case it is the PDF is actually full at all? I have had three so called EGR sensors fitted at some cost in the last few years and i have not had any restricted mode happen as yet. In truth the RR needs a decent run at times and my trips have been reduced a fair bit during lock down.

It was true though that a few weeks ago I got that message and a short burst in sport to get some higher revs did clear some soot? I think the Turbo is in the same boat.
