I wonder if this means it’s possible to retrofit the 2017 dual view screen / DVD player / tactile lower controls to later cars?

Circling back around on this. If you have massage seats the button for massage seats on the digital AC unit is a dead button. It does not turn on or off the massage function. You also cannot toggle the massage programs from the digital AC unit. It’s literally a dead button on the screen that does nothing. So this means you have to go back into the OEM NAV screen and go into the seat settings and control it there.

This is compounded if you have the android Nav bc you have to flip back to the OEM screen and then go into seat functions. Most of us liked the idea of this digital AC unit bc you didn’t have to bounce back to the OEM unit or switch back on the android.

I personally found this annoying bc I use the massage often and saw the button on the AC unit so I expected it to work…it doesn’t.

I’ve contacted the manufacturer and they had no interest in fixing it but instead just provided excuses.

Is it simply plug and play? i have a AB spec and im currently in USA so won't have any issues with shipping or import fees when i fly back later in the year,...

I pinged them an email to clarify some of their images for the L322 +2010 swap, as some of the images showed different screen surrounds. Flat/flush vs a recessed style. And the description states Android but the image is for Apple, so I have no idea what they are selling.

Buyer beware on these Alibaba units. Alibaba will do whatever they can to not honor a refund. They will make you pay for return shipping too. These sellers will try to wiggle out of honoring return/refund by and I quote “only have export qualifications and not import qualifications to pass customs” So basically it’s up to the chance this China company actually receives the item and then actually honors/processes your return. And good luck on getting that 1 year warranty honored. So your at risk of losing the several hundred for the unit plus the return shipping.
