Interior leather colour code (SOLVED)

I've checked all the stickers and plates around the vehicle but I cant find any codes that resemble a "leather paint code" that I can purchase elsewhere to do a few touch ups. Any shaking of a pointy stick is very welcome. Its a very light grey on an executive 2014 model.

Thanks Stan. No build sheet I'm afraid and restriction to Topix is holding me back, I gave that a whirl first. Appreciate your thoughts thank you.

I matched mine through a company. God alone knows where I have put the kit and what the name was. Is this one any good?

John, put your VIN in here... https://www.vindecoderz.com/

It looks like your colour is the same as mine, ivory. The colour code is NUG.

I'd recommend a Furniture Clinic kit, which I used https://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/leather-colourant-kit-1

Many thanks I've sent them a message. Think it might be the Cirrus. Appreciate the help.

That's brilliant thank you. I tried several times today to get the decoder to work and it just timed out, tried it now and got it in seconds haha. Its Cirrus, I can clearly see that now. Thank you so very much for the advice.

I'd recommend a Furniture Clinic kit, which I used https://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/leather-colourant-kit-1

Now, this is something that has really caught my eye!, so thanks for posting up.

I am in the process of wanting to change my Cirrus (same colour as yourself) interior parts to Black.

Been looking out for replacement dash panels along with consul sides and 4xdoor cards and B lowers etc all the bits i would need to change from the Cirrus to Black, (very lucky i have full Black seats) but near every part i find is from a breakers has been removed from the vehicle with a 20t track machine!, usually have creases and nicks/marks and i am starting to think is it worth it to remove all the bits in mine that are 100% perfect to replace with parts that are simply not. No is my answer....

But this idea is something that would be fantastic if it will work!, i can simply remove a part at a time and do the process and replace!. Awesome.

It would be nice to know :

What size bottle you bought to do your repairs so i can get an idea on how much it uses per job - biggest bottle i think for my job would be needed, but nice to know the amount you used for that part.

A pic of the finished arm rest!.

In the video he states "Available in 5 different sheens "Matt, Semi-Matt, Satin, Semi-Gloss and Gloss" So its not from my eye the last three, thinking its Semi-Matt finish?. Is that what you went for?.

Again, thanks for this!, excited to give it a try. Now i just need to find an Ebony Pan roof sun shade!. 2014 L405 3.0 V6 Autobiography Santorini Black 49k

I ended up with a product from fleabay (pictured) costing £20. I was a bit disappointed it didn't come with any cleaning materials or applicators for that price like some other "repair" kits and the 250ml content was certainly far too much for the small job I was doing. i was hoping it would be a good enough quality to justify the price. I'm pleased to say it was. I followed the guidance and cleaned the area (used a simple kitchen degreaser), applied some heat from a heat gun on low setting, cut up a kitchen sponge as i only needed a small piece, then dabbed the area that had all the paint worn away first. After five minutes of letting it air dry for a bit I applied heat again to dry thoroughly before another coat but even at that stage it was almost invisible to the naked eye where i had applied paint. the colour match was surprisingly seamless. I applied a second coat after heating again and this also disappeared into a perfect match. Just for good measure I covered the whole top arm to make sure there would be no distinction in differing colour tones (although I really didn't need to) dried it again as before and it looks exactly as I wanted. I'm going to give it a week to see how it holds up before covering it in a leather cleaner as advised but so far so good and I didn't even use a capful. The handle area inside needs a good clean still but I'm happy with the result so far. I cant comment on how going to black might work for you but certainly at this stage I can say the product is value for money and does exactly what you want it to do. Good luck with yours.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am not sure exactly what colour my interior is....

Its an L322.

Also looking for a replacement centre lid and passenger arm rest. Its ivory coloured but has the dimples/holes like the seat and not solid.

Thanks in advance!

David

Just run your VIN through

https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN

and it's showing Ivory.

Please check for yourself though. Also the forum contact at Duckworths (site sponsor) would also be able to produce you a build sheet to double check.

One word though, perhaps not a good idea to publish your VIN or other sensitive info on a publlic forum.

HTH Cheers

That's great thanks.

Post edited and VIN removed.

I wasn't sure as the furniture clinic post land rover colour chart said Ivory only goes up to 2010 and mines 2011. Guess there was an overlap and they had some to use up haha!

I'll go with that the Ivory NUG

Ivory is mentioned a few times so can't be far off!

Many Thanks

David

A bit annoying that I've had build sheets from the Dealer for JLR for years and now they don't do them. Anyway I needed leather touch up and rang the dealer's parts dept. They asked for my Reg number and told me the leather code straight away. Cirrus Gray and the Scratch Doctor product was excellent.
