Whilst driving to work this morning, I noticed the red Airbag Warning dash light was lit up, I pulled over restarted the car, but it stayed on.

Simple enough to remove the bulb |

The dealer tried a 2nd airbag control module today, and again my car refused to connect to it, perhaps it needs an immunosuppressant.

I took my car back in to the dealers on Monday to get the airbag sorted and I've still not got it back yet. They've taken countless traces and sent them off Land Rover Technical, they've fitted another airbag control module and checked the wiring, but the airbag warning light remains on.

afaik justin , the only thing that would make the airbag light stay on would be either the drivers or passenger occupancy sensors being faulty, have these been checked..

The dealership called and explained that LR technical were unable to fix my airbag issue so they have escalated to LR Engineering, who will either solve the problem or will 'fashion' a fix (the dealerships words not mine).

As long as the fix doesn't involve simply removing or disconnecting the airbag warning lamp, then I'm sure it will be fine ![]() Gone - Range Rover Supercharged 2006 ![]() |

They might put a resistor into the circuit to extinguish the lamp. Not recommended |

If they masked the problem and the airbags failed to deploy, the following lawsuit could seriously damage the LR company, so I really don't think it's worth their risk not to fix it fully. |

I've now been driving my car for over a month with no airbags, the dealership were happy to loan me a Freelander, so I said thanks, but no thanks, I will stick with the FFRR.
