The Clarion cartridge

The Clarion CD changer in the upper glove box is not ejecting the cartridge.

Im pretty sure there is a jam somewhere, and Ive tried shoving a few things inbetween the unit and the cartridge in the hope of unlocking something but have been unsuccessful.

When pressing the eject button, I can hear the slightest little click, but no cartridge gets delivered.

Any suggestions?
Where exactly are the switches and pins holding it in place?

Really I'd like to remove the entire unit to free up the glove box space (who uses CD's these days anyways). Anybody done this before and would like to share the steps? 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Me. Early L322s don’t have an Aux input and one can’t stream music to them. Ron B. VK2OTC

Not sure if it`s any help to you but I have found on some cd changes with same problem if you slide a steel rule under the cartridge in as far as it will go then sliding it either left or right it will release the cartridge, nothing to lose by giving it a go.

I also use CDs. I actually replaced the CD player in my L322 yesterday to be able to listen to them. I have hundreds of cds from probably 30 yrs ago that I enjoy listening to

Well I didn't mean to disregard the potentially valuable advice from the CD listening bloc of the forum. Wink

But it is a valuable cubbyhole for anything that comes to mind now... binoculars, bird guide, a map (remember those), or hand sanitiser. I am lucky enough to have the aux, usb, and ipod input ports on my L322. I do have a CD collection still, and while this cartridge is stuck it is of no use either as a CD player or a cubbyhole. 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
