Fuel Burning Heater FBH Fuel Pump Location and Assembly?

The previous owner told me he'd had his FBH fuel pump disconnected because it was causing problems. The workshop manual is as good as useless for this part and tells you nothing.

I've looked at previous threads and apparently it's above the rear diff. I've had a look and taken a photo. Can anyone confirm if this is where it would be? It looks like two hoses have been bridged.

Please can someone take a photo of it on their car so, I know how everything is supposed to go and where, as I'd like to put a new one on and see if I can get the FBH going. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Hi, that definitely looks like it and as you say, the pipes appear to have been connected together, bridging the pump. Unless someone else already has a picture of how it should look, I will try and get a picture of the underside of mine later this evening for you. 2012 Westminster TDV8 4.4 Indus Silver

Gary, have you got a new pump yet? Just wondering what you got if so. New ones seem to be upwards of £170. Slightly surface-rusted second-hand are available for around £45. But new generic ones seem to be available on the likes of eBay for £20 or so - but they're different pumping rates so you need to be sure which one to get. Mine needs replacing as well ...

I got genuine from a Land Rover main dealer in Scotland for £60 so, when I saw it at that price a few months ago, I nabbed it quick!

That's why I want to re-instate. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

The Workshop manual seems to answer this… the location and operation…

It’s where you photographed… or in your case, not there…

What I mean is the workshop manual is bloody useless. It doesn't show where, just some mad diagram and what it secures to etc, which is why I was asking for a photo. It really doesn't give enough info about fitment or anything. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
