I want to do some preventative rust protection on the tailgate. Just wanted to know how to remove trims and any other tips. Presume it’s best to do top and bottom. 2009 Range Rover Vogue 3.6TDV8, Bournville, Parchment/Navy

Just done my upper one mate. Remove the 2 screws in the centre recess first. Then lever the trim starting at one end. It's hard to get it started but then pops off quite easily. Once it comes away you have to pop the courtesy lights out and thread them back through the trim. Do the same with the emergency tailgate release lever. I had to replace 2 of the retaining clips on mine.
