Used prices L322 v L405

The L405 seems to be holding its value better than the L322 did in its day.

I bought a 2002 TD6 in 2009. It was 7 yrs old and I paid 11,750 for it from a garage with 80k on the clock. Used prices in Auto trader etc at the time we’re around the same

Fast forward to today. The L405 came out in 2013 which makes the early examples 8 yrs old. Try getting one of those for under 20k. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

12k in 2009 is worth 16.5 today just through inflation

Add in that the L405 was more expensive anyway & the difference isn't quite as large,

That's the main difference. According to Motorway.co.uk, mine is worth at least £5k more as a trade sale than I paid for it from a MD 17 months and 18k miles ago. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Petrols - yes, as are petrol 322's
Diesels - MY16 onwards are ULEZ but not 2013-2015

Maybe its a taster as to what will happen during the lead up to the last IC engine, that leaves the production line.
