United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver

Really cant see what all the fuss is about and not quite sure why I am now trying to justify my comments but here goes anyway:

Last Monday evening 11th April two sets of these ran out on eBay for £87.50 and £88.00 - Item numbers eBay Item No. 120707661996 and eBay Item No. 280654826792. Now I nearly bid on these but chose not too as I didn't view, test drive and subsiquently decide to buy my "soon to be arriving" 2010MY (which incidently doesn't have these side vents) until the following day. A sensible decision I think as I may not have bought this car and maybe the next one I looked at may already have the "Supercharged" pack on it.

So in keeping with protocol, assuming I have broken it, the following listing is for one of the sets Nick refers too, which has been relisted as it didn't sell for the same price last time.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...0509612158

The seller politely declined my offer based on the above but he will sell for £150 inc postage or you could buy the following which indeed does make Nicks set extremely good value for money Shocked

Either way my comments were never intended to cause friction, just a personal observation and opinion or are opinions also now against forum protocol?

Everyone has their own budget and figure that they find acceptable for any purchase and I'm no different. Now I may be waiting a week, a month or maybe longer but thats my choice, it may or may not be the right one Whistle 2015 L405 SDV8 Autobiography, Indus Silver with Black Pack.

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

Hi Nick,

No problem at all.

I understand the various comments, but without me growing a moustche and speaking with a Liverpudlian accent, we must Calm down everyone Smile

As with anything in life, i'm sure we all realise the two adages of "something is only worth what someone will pay for it" and also "every seller has his/her price" Its balancing the two that makes a deal.

I see the points made, but i think that as the items cost north of 250Gbp at a dealer, both Nick and I offer a fair price, and indeed time will show i'm sure that there will be two more FFRR running around enhanced with the grills that their owners desired at a price that was fair and equitable for all.

Failing that, they can always stay in the shed with the growing assortment of bloke things "that may come in useful one day" Smile

Best - Mark

but everyone (well not all) buys the 'crap' to make their car look 'new'?

i've worked with injection moulded items - the cost for the initial tooling is the big cost factor

an item i sold at £1.50 - the tooling etc cost £2K some years ago - fortunately it sold well Very Happy
