First time post here.
I have owned my full fat for the past 6 weeks, it’s a 2015 but my16 with 22” turbines. The previous owner only did 1500 miles a year for the past 3 years and so I think this still has the original continental tyres on them. Tread on fronts are legal but I would say around 3mm with rears probably 4mm. It does tramline a bit which I accept could be the case on 22’s.
Have developed bit of paralysis on choosing new tyres between Pirelli’s all seasons or verdes, replacement continentals, Goodyear f1 asymmetric 3’s or the Michelin pilot sport suv..
Went with Michelin’s as 15% discount today via black circles. £235 a tyre fitted plus 2% cash back via Quidco.
I did think the Contis did well for 36k miles on a big suv but heard good things about the Michelin. I really wanted homologated tyres but couldn’t resist the discount in the end
Anyone have experience with the Michelin’s ? Will know more when fitted this weekend I guess.
Cheers
Mark
