2013. Used the RSE for months, then I didn’t. I tried this weekend ad get a DISC ERROR when a DVD disc is trying to load. Tried multiple discs. Tried a cleaning DVD. Same result.

I haven’t unplugged the battery yet to try and reset it.

Thoughts?

If it is a Ford unit, they do not like paper disc labels. Difficult to fix if it has a fault ERR£ on the screen, the mechanisn has gone out of synch and caught a disc up in the guides.

Thanks. All discs used are from movie companies. No pirated discs were used.

I think it only holds one disc in it, but I could be wrong. Time to read the manual!

I popped the nav/DVD player out yesterday essentially providing a hard power reset. No luck.

Ordered a used replacement with the same WERS # off eBay to see if that will fix the disc error. I may need to swap the dvd drive from one to the other to remove the n3ed for a software update. Shipping says about 3.5 weeks…. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8
