if it is shutting down before the recommend run time, that can a sign of a weak or low battery. Do a battery test before anything else. |

Sounds like the usual failed to ignite issue, iv been planning on the fbh conversion on my 4.4 m62. Bought everything tested everything just didn't get a chance to fit it.

Yes it is in the fuse box inside the glove box, the fuse is missing from mine so I have to add it to power the feed to the fbh |

This is a standard webasto heated iv a couple in different stages of modification, there are certain conditions that must be met for them to work

It just doesn't get cold enuf here in the UK for it to have been soecced as an option when new those that have them fitted are a very rare car indeed. On the top gear episode in 2002 when the L322 was 1st launched Clarkson even comment on the small paraffin heater fitted in the wheel arch to warm the car up on the timer before getting into it.

Defo shouldn't be spitting coolant best have a look see pull the fbh and strip it down the water pumps are known to fail that would cause a no flame condition for sure. |

if you take a look at the disco forum they sell a cable you can plug in to test the FBH and you can down load the WTT test software FOC from Webasto.
