United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey
3.6 TDV8 EGR’s blanked

Hi folks, I’ve recently fitted an eBay bought EGR blanking kit and thought I’d share my experience.

The kit I received is really well engineered and comes with a very detailed set of fitting instructions, so it was gloves on and head down. About an hour later the EGR link pipes were gone, the kit fitted and the engine ticking over again.

That was about a week ago and since then I’ve noticed that the engine now doesn’t hunt when ticking over and it revs and pulls far more smoothly than it did prior to blanking the EGRs, which in fairness, if the link pipes are anything to go by, weren’t that badly sooted up. The EGR’s still operate as normal but I’ll eventually get them deleted and better still no fault codes Bow down

All in all it’s a simple mod which can only benefit the engine in the long run and to anyone thinking about doing it Id say get it done Thumbs Up Current collection :
