Glad it was not too serious. Can one buy recon hubs off the shelf?

I think you will find the biggest problem could be getting the drive shaft off the hub? could open up a can of worms Big Cry

And if you do get them out you will usually have trouble getting them back in.... Rolling Eyes

The top and bottom hub bushes can be changed without removing the hub but the large retaining bolt is usually seized in place, last time I did one I used a 3/4 drive HGV rattle gun and it got it out by eventually snapping the bolt in half...

Not a job I'd like to try on the drive... always worth changing the bolts, which are cambered and effect the suspension set up so make sure it is realigned after... Thumbs Up Pete

The job can be done on the drive but only if you have the right size sockets, spanners, bush press, jack stands, two jacks, rattle gun, and all the parts? some times blow torch as well? I ended taking off the stone guard for better access to the lower bush, so that made another job to clean the hand brake set up and readjust when refitted
