I think until all of the camouflage and padding comes off and we see it in the flesh, it’s difficult to comment. I think people have said that the interior space in the L460 SWB is comparable to the L405 LWB.

I might be wrong, but I see the L405 Westminster as a budget clearance model, which has a couple of extra bits stuck on.

I think JLR probably have quite a few units of these left in stock, which customers can choose from, if you're someone who's not particularly fussy.

I suspect this magazine feature is little more than a last ditch attempt to help JLR shift these last remaining units.

New L405s certainly still seem to be leaving the factory - seen transporters full of them over the past couple of weeks.

Time will tell, but I'm still not convinced that the new model is going to be launched at all this month, especially when Land Rover are still taking orders on the current model.

While I understand that there will be a crossover, I'm struggling to believe that JLR would still be taking orders on a car, if a new model was going to be launched in little more than two weeks.

I'd be very surprised....... But then again, with JLR, who knows!!!

Unveiling will surely predate customer deliveries by a few months, as with the L405.

I have had my name down for the new one for ages and more recently money down as well and I haven't been invited to anything so I am not important enough either.

I can't help but feel that the 22nd September must be the official launch date then.

If Very Disco also knows of this for the UK market, then I suspect it must be genuine.

Also, if this event is happening for the chosen few, then images without camouflage, from either the press, JLR or otherwise, will no doubt be published immediately after the event.
