| [Wanted] Cairns Blue L322 Bonnet & hinges | |
Replacement bonnet required :
Ideally Cairns Blue in good condition, local to the West Midlands.
However, will consider further afield & / or different colour.
For anyone who wants to know : If the bonnet isn't latched & the safety catch isn't engaged, the bonnet lifts off due to air speed at approx 30 mph !
Bonnet flies up, breaks the gas struts & bends the hinges & bonnet corners before almost hitting the windscreen.
Note to Self : NEVER rest the bonnet on the bonnet catch & leave the car. It's too easy to forget what you've done later & drive off ! Paul,
