I’ve been told not to expect the ability to customise bar a few pre determined JLR configurations! |

That will be great when we get the usual JLR malfunctions and it ends up slamming your door into the garage wall or car next to you. |

I agree Aja! No wonder obesity is rife when you don't (literally) have to lift a finger to open a door! I sometimes wonder why we even need electric windows, there's no "fall-back" when they break down! All LR cars from 1984

So that'll probably mean 3 models, the one with the 4.4 BMW lump will probably be called the Autobiography Black First X Edition and apart from a 5mm brushed aluminum strip inside, will be, yes you've guessed it......completely black I'm just hoping peoples L405's will be built, it'd be a real shame to have waited this long, have quite a wide choice of engines and trims, only to be told the L405 orders are being transposed over to the L460 and you've got 4 engines and limited colour/trim choice. They did it with the Defender, I don't see why they wouldn't do it again with the Range Rover. Time will tell. |

Some more spy pics from carscoops, interesting they have called it a 2023 model - not sure that they would call it a SVR model though ....

Still no news on mine yet AnotherMutley...... JLR confirmed that HUD was preventing slotting, so they've recently removed that. I'm now being told that's it's just waiting to be slotted. Not sure what else can be slowing it down. I did notice that electronic side steps have gone from the options list, so hope this isn't another element which is preventing it from being slotted!! I'll be back on to the dealer again this week. |

I do hope you get some good news, you’ve been extremely patient. I did see some new L405s on the back of a transporter today on the A2, but I can’t help but think that everyone who has a build slot is going to get a call from the dealer, saying sorry all L405’s have been “unslotted” |

I did read something from Adrian Mardell saying that the new Range Rover wouldn't be affected by the chip shortage as it uses different types of semiconductor from other suppliers. |

Mine is still showing unslotted, however I recognise my order is later than James AM & AJA's orders, not filling me with much confidence that I'll get it. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB
