SGS Engineering trolley jack,

I need a trolley jack and after a bit of searching found the following.
SGS 3 ton low profile trolley jack. Model TJ3LP-JSR.
The lifting range is from 98mm to 535mm which does sound like it might lift high enough.
Has anyone on here bought one and is 535mm high enough to lift a L322?
Its £166.79 which includes 2 heavy duty ratchet axle stands.
Any feedback or recommendations most welcome on the jack and SGS Engineering.
Many thanks. 2009 Vogue SE Zermatt silver

Have a look here…

I ended up ordering the “SGS 3 Ton Heavy Duty Trolley Jack With 4 Ton Ratchet Axle Stands - TJ3X-JSR” which is a great jack and axle stand set… but I’ve needed to use blocks of wood to get enough height for the L322. That jack has a max height of 465mm and the one you suggest “only” has an additional 50mm.

I’d have to check to be sure, but I would expect that to still be a bit tight without an extra boost with blocks… albeit less of a boost than what I need.

I intend to buy another jack more suitable to raise the L322, and relegate the other jack to other lifting duties so I am interested in what you get and how you find it. Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

I must admit I thought the sgs jack would have enough lift, not so sure now so might have to seek out a decent bottle jack. 2009 Vogue SE Zermatt silver

I've got the tj3 sgs Jack which is fine without blocks. The tj3x is low profile so doesn't lift as high. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue

I have had mine a few years now and think it did go higher than the ones they are quoting on the sgs website. 583mm seems to ring a bell thinking back Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue

Ah that explains it! I got the jack on recommendation… and clearly I got the incorrect one! Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

Looking at sgs website the TJ3LP jack goes from 38mm to 535mm lift height, thats about the highest I can find on sgs, I'm thinking that would probably lift my fatty and the wife's mini and my sons jag xe, just still not sure if that's high enough. The product code numbers all seem very similar. 2009 Vogue SE Zermatt silver

Just been to the garage to check mine and it goes to 520 so the LP one if that goes to 535 should be spot on. Mines lifted the car many times and is high enough for the suspension full travel without maxing out Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue
