My MY2010 has a display which seems to differ from the handbook. In the handbook it shows the touchscreen FM buttons as having the radio station name on them, (Radio 4, Classic FM etc). With my car no matter what I try, all I can get is the buttons to show a frequency (94.3, 100.1 etc) which is not much use.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

It probably depends on the station, some of mine show the frequency and some the radio station alternating with the name of the song/singer..

OK scanner, in my 2010 Vogue I have tried your problem as mine shows the station name and I get the following to get the text back

1) Power up
2) Select Audio/Video
3) Click settings on the screen, note the top line of the screen - it shows the frequency
4) click RDS
5) tap "on"
6) look at the top of the screen and see if your station is now showing as a name or a frequency.

You should also now get TA announcements too 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

you should be able to turn the TA off by repeatedly pressing the button. ... - .- -.

You can disable TA by touching the TA button, or you can just touch the key marked Video/Audio when the announcement starts or during it and that will return you to the station you were listening to. I hate TA too because it is usually for somewhere nowhere near where I am - it's a bit like those diverts that TMC comes up with - about 5 hours after the traffic accident or delay has cleared but the Highways Agency has forgotten to tell the radio stations making the TMC broadcasts!! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
