Thought these grills were horrendous when I first saw them however on the new M3 it almost works. Probably because it’s black and blends in.

Had a X5 40d a few years ago and it was a great car but the new bmws are horrific looking things.

Agreed - e61 in spot guise is a fantastic looking thing 1995 4.6 v8, green/tan (long gone)

Good design should never need to “grow on” us. Sure, the shock of the e60 and the rest of Bangle’s talentless designs have waned over time, but they are still almost entirely awful. BMW had been doing a good job of redeeming themselves since getting rid of him, but the current generation only makes sense in that they are meant to appeal to a completely different market to the UK and Europe. |

E61 is a nicer looking car today than the f11 that followed it which looks so bland
