Thought these grills were horrendous when I first saw them however on the new M3 it almost works. Probably because it’s black and blends in.

Massive Bmw fan up until the last couple years. Had e90 v8 m3 saloon, e39 m5, e46 m3, 3 E30 tourings, X5 4.8is, X5 40d etc.

They’re too image conscious now. Watch the m3/4 launch video with the head of Bmw M and a designer - bloody cringeworthy 1995 4.6 v8, green/tan (long gone)

Had a X5 40d a few years ago and it was a great car but the new bmws are horrific looking things.

It’ll grow on us all, you watch!
The majority hated Bangles e60 5 series when it first came out, but as the sportier trim models appeared they became lovely cars! As mentioned before, as we see more of them they’ll become the norm.

Good design should never need to “grow on” us.

Sure, the shock of the e60 and the rest of Bangle’s talentless designs have waned over time, but they are still almost entirely awful.

BMW had been doing a good job of redeeming themselves since getting rid of him, but the current generation only makes sense in that they are meant to appeal to a completely different market to the UK and Europe.

E61 is a nicer looking car today than the f11 that followed it which looks so bland
