Battery life when using rear DVD

Hey guys
Just wondering how long its advisable to use the rear DVD screen (single drop down rosen) with the engine off without leaving the battery unable to restart the engine.....(running a V8 petrol DVD player seems a bit pricey)
Cheers Carl

P.s sorry to only post when i have questions i do look round lots just try and leave the answers to others who clearly know more.

Personally, I have the engine on if anyone is watching a dvd or tv on the front or rear screens. Reformed

I can't imagine a DVD player uses enough power to flatten a battery, then again it is a FFRR...

I wouldn't trust it for longer than 30 minutes - My 5 year old son regularly flattens the battery on my wife's D3 with RSE dvd system Shocked This then requires an embarrasing jump start Embarassed so I am now in the process of sourcing a second battery Big Cry

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Hmm... I wonder if this is ever so slightly linked to the whole MY2011 battery complaints right now. Maybe I'm just a synical git. Actually there is no maybe about it (me being a git that is, not the issue)!!!!
