Fault code 118 reservoir pressure drops when filling

About 4 week go I had the air suspension inactive pop up on my Range Rover it’s a 2003 l322 diesel automatic wen this happened I noticed that the light on the height switch on the dash had gone out I have had this before wen I had the new front air strut fail so I rest the fault code to see if the light would come back on but this time nothing changed the ride height satayed normal on all for corners I left it parked up for a weak nothing changed the height stayed the same but still saying air suspension inactive and now light on switch so I decided to move the truck on the drive then the passenger front started to drop slowly it went completely flat slowley over a week today I checked the pump was o working the light on the dash is out and no power going to the pump so I disconnected the pump and used a wire on a battery to feed pump direct it worked so connected it back up checked for a fault code nothing showing up but still on the dash sais air suspension inactive trid the steering lock to lock to remove this but nothing happens any idia on wat to do next thanks

First, please try to use a full stop now and again, it makes it very hard to read otherwise...

Check battery voltage, it should be 12.6v with the engine off and around 14.5v with it running...

You will have a hard fault that needs resetting before the system will work, don't know if your diagnostics can do that, a lot can't...

If it still won't clear or comes back then the most obvious thing would be the pump. There are lots of checks you can do if you have a diagnostic tool that can read all the live values.

Procedure for testing is in the workshop manual which you can download from the WIKI (link top left of the page under fullfatrr.com)

Good Luck Thumbs Up Pete
