After 9 years of memorable trips into the vast West Australian outback, I decided to let the old camper go to a new owner and upgrade to something new, Can't wait till Friday to pick up the new toy in the attached promo video.

Stan, it's pretty accurate with the tracks we have to travel to get to the "good" spots. I have lost count of the Caravans and Camper trailers I have seen with collapsed suspension and broken running gear on our corrugated roads. Even this new one is not as heavy-duty as a lot now on the market but it still is a serious bit of off-road kit. Someone has already taken the exact one up to Cape York with Zero issues, a lot of others fall apart. The old one got me to some special spots over the years and apart from 2 Jockey wheels and a few bush stripes its as good as new.

Stayed last week at a small site between Castleton and Tideswell in the Derbyshire Peak District. Lots of space, very quiet and very little by way of facilities - just how we like it.

Picked up the new Camper today and am very impressed so far. The biggest surprise was that there are no bulb-out warnings on the car dash due to the submersible LED trailer lights. I gave up trying to sort this on the old one and fitted old school incandescent lamps to stop the constant bongs and warnings. The electric brakes also just worked seamlessly not even needing a calibration, someone must have heeded the complaints. The only thing I had to do was go around every door opening and adjust the locks to pull in harder on the dust seals. I am one happy camper. There are a few Mods I will be doing to std spec, a second 100ah battery, an awning pole tube to the front to free up space for a pantry pullout box. Modifying the annexe poles called the Raawcon mod and adding spring clips to the side poles, See the vids
