Not bad, but I’d get more through Motorway.

Quite impressed with their first valuation.
I've heard that if you fill in all the details correctly, i.e. the proper email address [I don't normally, I just put a spoof email & that stops any follow up] they will keep upping the valuation?

Rumours have it, they'll knock off £50 a wheel scuff & anything else they can devalue your pride & joy with.
WBAC is really, in my eyes, a last gasp saloon & only if you're desperate...........but.......their figures are pretty encouraging especially if you fancy cashing in.
On the other hand, whatever vehicle you look at buying to replace it has shot up in value just as much, so do you really gain anything....I'm not so sure. "better the devil you know" is a rather good saying & keeps your feet firmly on the ground! Laughing 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

I know / know of quite a few people have used Motorway and it’s worked brilliantly for them, so much better than the stories you read about WBAC. Dealers bid for your car, so the first price quoted is a guide based on what they’ve got for similar cars recently, everyone I know has had a better final deal which is the opposite of others like WBAC. However, that’s in the current silly used car market and for cars no more than 5-6 years old. Not sure how good it is for older cars.

I don’t have anything to do with Motorway and haven’t used them yet, but it does seem like a decent alternative to trading your car in rather than just a way of getting rid quickly. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

I guess ultimately it depends on the type of car and how long you've been trying to flog it. If I stuck mine up on fleabay bearing in mind, mines a luxury workhorse your just asking for a queue of idiots that want to own a range rover but It's not in the best of condition so they will turn up whinge that it's got this n that n that's wrong where as least these wbac sites will still take it regardless.

If you've got a decent l322/l405 then it's pointless going to this lot as I'd imagine the dealers would give you a better price

Brother in law just sold his 2016 Discovery Sport to Motorway for £21,000. It was collected with no quibbles. WBAC was much lower. I put my 2013 RRS 1 on and was offered £13,500. I used that to get the dealer I traded in with to match it, and they did.

Things are a little wacky t the moment.

Recently sold my BMW via Motorway and was generally impressed. Getting the photos exactly right for them was slightly painful but was happy with the valuation, car went on sale following day, by 15:00 I had an email confirming sale had been agreed, dealer called next day and paid me a holding deposit, his collection agent called to arrange the date and on the day he arrived, inspected car and docs, payment then arrived in my account and he was on his way in 45 mins.

No complaints all very smooth. RR Vogue TDV8 Grey/Black

I sold through motorway and the whole experience was very straightforward. The initial valuation came in £960 higher than WBAC and the final amount it sold for was only reduced by a couple of hundred pounds. Another vote for Motorway!
