Thanks gents. I think things are well lubricated as I have had previous issues on the passenger side so aware. Difference between then and now. Sometimes they extracted sometimes they didn’t. I could push closed with my foot. This occasion the drivers step opens and closes no issues. It just only goes back to 50% of its closed position. If I push on the step it is definitely locked by the motor.

Love the idea and first time I have had them but should have suspected they would be one of those LR things. However I won’t be beaten. 2013 L405 AB 4.4SDV8 Luxor/Ivory, 2007 Vogue TDV8 Epson Green/Sand, 2008 Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue/Sand, 2003 Vogue 4.4 LPG Epsom Green/Sage, 1998 Vogue SE 4.6 LPG Epsom Green/Cream

similar scenario here.....plan on getting under there with a power washer or strong hose to blow out any gunk that might be jamming it.....let it dry over night then hit it with lubrication again. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
