Hi all, I'm a newbie here. Just about to pick up my first FFRR - a MY12 Westminster. It has original fixed side steps, which look pretty worn out. I'd like to explore fitting deployable side steps and have found some older posts on the forum encouraging.

However, it seems no one sells genuine LR deployable side steps any more, not even on eBay!

Can anyone point me in the right direction, if there is one? Am I right to assume LR no longer makes these and all UK stock has gone? If so, are there any other options available (i.e. non-genuine LR)?

indeed at one time you could buy these steps in your local 'poundshop' as there were so many about and very well priced...now they are like hens teeth and if you do find some , a bit expensive....

Try ringing 'The Vogue Centre'. I rang last year and they had some for them to fit. Very expensive though.

Nice one, I'll give them a try.

This company also supply side steps. I think they quoted me about £1200 for them.

I looked at them Ivan, and thought it was for the newer shape cars only. Be interesting to see if they do them for the older cars as well.

Thanks Ivan. I contacted Pegasus yesterday and they do not supply/fit deployable steps for the L322, only the newer models.

they're nice for about 3 years then the brackets seize up because they are a truly crap design. no oiling or anything else can help in my experience - they're doomed from the moment you fit them 2010 VSE [Roger]
