Just had my second key done by Adam, usual excellent service.

Just in case anyone's missed it, Adam doesn't supply the new key ready cut. Not a major problem, my local independent key cutter charged me £5 to cut the blank.

Can someone clarify… the shiny new key needs to have the blade cut? Or is the old blade swapped over as well? Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

how much i the dealer charging you for a new key plus programming? Mine only came with 1 key so a spare would be ideal 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Not sure off hand and on my hollibobs at the moment…
But £180 rings a bell for the key from Duckworths. I have an IIDTool so can add an additional key myself, although I think programming was about £50.

A big thank you to Adam for an excellent service. The new 5 button is really plush. Works perfectly, quick turn around and great communication throughout. My local Auto Locksmith cut the blank a few days after receipt so now as good as a new one.

Hi All

Sorry if I have missed this but, just for clarity - I have a late D4 that has the blade in the housing of the old key so if I send the entire key inc blade will I get the new key with the old blade that is already cut for my car back or will I need to get the new blade cut, i.e. is the blade swapped out into the new key?

Cheers chaps  "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

I received the new key with a blank blade and the old key with the original blade back. I took both to my local auto locksmith to get the new blank cut. TDV8 4.4 2012

Adam has just done two keys for me, absolutely fantastic service and he made sure he sent the keys to me at work so I could sign for them during the day.
