And one of the first jobs will be to remove it's ugly roof rails and bars, they work well but I really hate the look...

I guess when the engine is running and the oil is flowing there’s no way of knowing what the level is in the sump so the only way to monitor it would be oil pressure.

Thanks chaps, about another litre came out when taking the drive shaft out of the sump so it's pretty low now.... we were talking earlier about starting it in the morning before filling it up to see what happens... Don't think I've got the cajones to do that though...!!!!

All back together, no leaks from anywhere and it runs 100% so looks like whatever caused it... faulty part, bolt or spanner work hasn't done any lasting damage...

Pete, have a look at the settings in the CCF files sir... Most leave the factory and PDI with the low oil alert switched OFF!!! |
