2008 vogue PDC not activating on reverse shifting (nothing happens on reverse) but can be activate by button on dash

all front&rear sensor double checked for clicking sound - all 8 are OK

swapped a working PDC unit from my friends's 2008 vogue to see what happens - still same not activating on reverse (but activating on his vogue) - so it is not PDC unit

checked fuse number 6 & replaced with a new one also to be sure - but still same not activating on reverse

any ideas ?
