Hi all,

Has anyone ever replaced a SRS Airbag control module ECU with a second hand unit? - not one that has been involved in an incident, just a normal second hand part. I have had a look through what i can find, and i cant see anywhere where they are locked to a VIN number.

Any advice would be great.

Hi. Did you sort this? I'm having some grief with my ECU and I am going to get it out and have it reprogrammed. ----------------

Yeah I swapped it with a known working unit from a donor car and it sorted my problems out. All warning lights gone and errors cleared
