Has anyone fitted a DTUK chip to a td6

Hi all

I’m after a honest review/opinion😂

I know a proper remap is better than any “chip” but the DTUK ones have fantastic reviews and seem like quality item not cheap buy any standard and I like the fact you can remove it.

So has anyone actually fitted one to their td6?
What was it like etc ?

Fitted one to a vectra v6 diesel.

Mad it worse but it only cost me £150. Took it too a specialist and he done a bench map and that made some serious difference.

honest advice if your considering going down that route for mapping you shouldn't own a range rover of your doing things on the cheap. Reviews are all good as they are all a week old after using the dtuk unit. Ask someone what they are like after 3-6 months use

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Bonatti Grey

Injectors start failing, fuel pump and ecu troubles.

They send messages to the ecu that it's getting more air, so fuel pump sends extra diesel but it's all the time so every where you go it thinks its getting better air flow even at 10mph.

Better of getting it mapped properly so it delivers the fuel when you his the noisy pedal not all the time

Plug in ones tend to use a 10p resistor to confuse the ECU as mentioned above, they will give an increase in power but not the right way..

I'm with Bean, get a proper remap or don't bother... Thumbs Up Pete
