My L405 is due for a service in the very near future. Having just moved into the area, I’m searching for the best independent LR garage. I realise that "best" is subjective, but any recommendations would be most welcome.

Currently I’m looking at Broad Lane Land Rovers in Westbury, anyone used them?

if you can go as far as Shepton Mallet (30m miles) then go to Steve at S&T Norman. Steve has over 20 years' LR experience across all models and knows his stuff. They are by far the best of any LR mechanic I have ever come cross and knock spots off all the Main dealers and other Indies. He is very happy to talk through any problem with the car and employs a very thorough diagnosis to find a solution. You even get a nice courtesy car without having to wait 3 months!!

I will second WJ Joyce in Trowbridge, but if you don’t particularly need a LR specialist, I rate Steve at Melksham Car Care (adj to the railway station) very highly. Have used him for years for all sorts of cars and every MOT and always been great and reasonably priced. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322
