Is there anything to look for thats changed whilst the new model was/is in production.....

Any particular extras people are enjoying having? all smug in my new plug!

- Wider seats (memory controls moved to the door)
- Touch Pro Duo system
- Apple CarPlay 2021 L405 Vogue D300
2016 L405 Vogue 3.0TDV6 (Sold)

Are they all standard on the latest model....or did they come in at a certain time? all smug in my new plug!

Used to like the gesture control sunblind, took it off 20MY apparently because too many US owners complained.

They were are all part of the 2018 facelift model (which I believe is known as MY19) which changed a number of things inside and out. Notably the introduction of the P400e hybrid engine, some external styling tweaks such as the grille and rear light clusters and exhaust trims. I may be wrong about Apple Car Play being launched on the MY19 model....I think it may have come in a year or so later.

My new car is registered as a 2021.5 car, didn't realise that before!!

The things I like extra over my Facelift 2018 are "softer" soft close doors, they seem to always soft close no matter what. The rearview mirror goes into wide angle mode when the cameras notice traffic or people in the blind spots. Apple Carplay is instantaneous when plugged in (wish it was wireless!!). All the old software issues have been resolved and all works perfectly and faster than the original Duo Screen. The LR Dashcam is excellent and so simple to use with proper English accent notification when starting up rather than the comic pseudo auto chinese voice on my old Blackvue cameras!

Lastly, I know I bang on about it, but the D300 MHEV is really all you need (as reported in Autocar review

Thanks Chalky, really useful.......I'm looking at a particular 4.4 that Ive seen.

I'll have a browse of the D300 MHEV and see if I can make the spec work, but I planned on splitting the budget a bit and maybe getting a toy also and another motorbike so might be out of the budget as was just looking at 2018-19 cars for now. all smug in my new plug!

The 2018/19 cars are great and should have ACP. Also make sure the software has all the latest updates.

They will have SOTA so that helps but be adamant about the software and make sure ACP is part of the software upgrade. Some people didn't bother with upgrades and dealers didn't offer them as a matter of course, so make sure you get it all otherwise they may, or will have, glitches . All LR cars from 1984

Thjanks mate, really good to know......Taggarts were pretty poor at making sure my car had all the latest updates and her 2017 Evoque was the same.....it was in a few times and I had to ask them to upgrade it and it was an overnight job!! Pure laziness!!!

Will deffo make sure it has ACP.... all smug in my new plug!
