L405 MY22 Changes ?

Hi, so if the L460 is delayed until early 2022 does anyone know if there are any changes beyond the MY21.5 changes introduced earlier in the year ? Asking for a friend Cool 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Just been through the Canadian Land Rover configurator which is showing the model year as 2022 and it looks the same as the 21.5 so I guess I've answered my own question - doesn't appear to be any changes for MY22 until the L460 is released. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

I don't expect there will be any changes to the L405 model as its due to end production, they won't have any planned investment into that car even though the L460 is delayed. 2021 L405 Vogue D300

According to dealers, 22MY is a carry over of 21MY, certain options may go NLA as they move closer to Q4.

If you are adamant about changing and want the new model, I'd wait till end July to see what the situation is then re L406.

The L405, as far as software bugs go, appears to be totally fixed now and mechanically it is very reliable so I'd buy a new L405 and leave the new one for a year or two when all the bugs will be fixed (hopefully) Whistle All LR cars from 1984

Definitely thinking of late L405 Chalky rather than the new model, I had one of the first 8 speed TDV8's L322's and it was full of bugs, broke down one week old and didn't get much better after that Censored But I will need to order soon as I'm hearing lead times are about 6 months and that is how long my current lease runs for. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Once you’ve decided on the engine, then the real fun begins. Get a dart and a calendar that shows the next 12 months and give it your best shot, that’s about as scientific as the forecasting gets.

Am leaning towards the P400 as I'd prefer petrol (95% short journeys) and its got the best tank range out of the petrol models. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Thumbs Up That’s what I’m waiting for confirmation of a build slot on, but the dealers aren’t very communicative about any orders at the moment. You might be able to pick one up that’s in build.

Yes, personally I liked it, fuel consumption was difficult to gauge on a short test drive but it seemed nippy enough without being too raucous at the top end. It’s been around in the RRS for a while, couldn’t find anybody with any negative to say about it.

This new mild hybrid diesel was launched last summer and I don't think it was fitted to customer cars until around October time.

It's completely different to the SDV6 with 300hp that has been in the Sport for a few years and is just a tweaked version of the SDV6 in the FFRR. It's part of the Ingenium modular range of engines, which includes the 1.5 3 pot in the Ewok hybrid and both petrol and diesel 2.0 4 pots that are fitted across the JLR range. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid
