Thanks Merchy - thatโs the exact same procedure I used to follow when working under the TVR, but I doubt if my 2 tonne jack and axle stands would be man enough for the RR. Much safer to take the wheel off than leave it on, you stand more chance of getting injured with the vehicle supported just by the airbags, if one goes pop, the system decides to lower, you knock off a pipe, etc with your hands in and around the wheel I hate to think what injuries you would get but you would find out who your real friends are the next time you need the toilet...!!!

Good advice Haylands, I usually drop mine to access level prior to any work, I have an I-carsoft LR reader, but the more I read, the more I think I will be better off biting the bullet and getting the Gap tool
