I recently bought a 2011 TDV8.

It was generally in pretty good condition but I noticed that one of the straps that supports the rear tailgate didn’t appear to be connected.

I cannot believe the amount of corrosion I found. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Might be worth checking your straps in case the next time you rest on it your tailgate may give way.

Yeah, that’s a common issue. Corrodes under the covering and generally folk don’t notice till it snaps.

They like to keep us on our toes....
