Water in cupholder

Hiya

Have noticed water in my centre console cup holder. Dried it up this morning and it's back. Have had air con on given its hot presume it's to do with that?

Any way to stop it?

Cheers

Adam

If the water is collecting in the cup holder, it could be coming from the sunroof, if you have had any rain that is.
Maybe worth pointing a hose at it and see what happens. Sun roof drains could easily be blocked, one thread poster here recently, had water in his car and the sunroof drain area had corroded away completely.

It's definitely not that. It's only happened last two days when it's been boiling hot and I've had the air con on full blast.

Does it do it with the sunroof blind open? You may have condensation building up on the inside of the roof glass and then it drips? Check for leaks in your boot as some have reported 2" in the wheel well.... Shocked Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Thinking about it, I think it's only done it when I had the cooled seats on.

Thinking about the other thread with water produced by the air con system, which is normal, still seems a bit strange to collect in the cup holders, try leaving the cup holders lid open to ensure air flow. If there are no leaks dripping into them it must be down to the humidity and cooling of the seats.
