A simple check is to look at the wiring that runs around the front struts, on mine they had worn through against inside of wheel/tyre. Just turn the steering full lock to lock and look underneath the wheelarch.

You say your compressor is goosed? How have you come to this conclusion?

Fix what? You don't know what the problem is yet? You could go to the dealer for the diagnosis = £120+ You could then fix whatever the issue is = £??? You could then go back to the dealer for the code to be reset = £120+ That's a minimum of £240 - but without knowing the cause the cost could be completely open ended. D ![]() |

When my EAS failed the lights on the hieght adjust button went out and if I flicked it up or down to raise/lower the suspension, the relevant light came on then went out again and nothing happened. What happens if you hit the access height button on the drivers door? By the way mine was the common valve problem (blocked) on the compressor in the boot (@ £7 item if you do it yourself as shown on a thread somewhere on this forum). Steve

The message came on when I was towing the trailer, so it was in standard height and locked. When I tried to adjust it once the trailer was unhitched the corresponding light would flash. Now that I have unplugged the compressor in the boot the lights have gone out and will not come back on This valve sounds promising, Ive done a search and cant find it ![]() |

I disconnected the compressor to test it I am aware the suspension is locked in normal height when a trailer is attached and I did try to adjust it one I had unhitched it |

How did you test it? You can't just apply 12V to it as it's a 3 way plug iirc. |

Well, going back to the beginning - you need to get the fault read. The dealer will be able to assist you with this, or EAS Activate. Some independent garages will be able to read and clear the fault too. ![]() |
