Has anyone had experience with the Secure Tracker subscription?

About 3 weeks ago I received an email to say that my subscriptions where due by 02/06/21. I renewed the Protect and Remote Premium service for 2 years. This showed up in incontrol with new date of 02/06/23. simple.

I didn't do the tracker at the same time and have gone back to renew the tracker and page states no subscriptions due. Main dealer cant help, recommended contact Land Rover customer services.

Basically, because 14 days has passed and i didn't renew secure tracker at the same time, i now have to wait until 2023 before i can renew the tracker, i was left absolutely incredulous. Apparently nothing they can do about it.

Has anyone else had same experience and had any success in overcoming this with LR? ------------------------------------------

Try logging out and then logging back into the app. Sometimes it then gives you the option to renew the subscription.

It’s not the greatest tracker in the world but if you need it for insurance purposes and have a ghost fitted it can make sense.

When I had the tracker it always gave me false alerts, bloody annoying.

Now I just subscribe to the remote features and the journey recorder - it’s basically a tracker for the cost of £38 a year as it tells you where you last left the car. And no annoying false alerts! L405 4.4 AB Loire Blue

I did a very similar thing, I emailed JLR customer service who cancelled my subscription.... which allowed me to take out another one including the tracker

Thanks for replies. I had no joy logging out and back in, i tried several times. Customers Services couldn't cancel the subscription because it was over 14 days. I escalated the issue but got no where.

I came across the LRadvice email in an earlier email regarding the subscriptions and emailed them last Friday evening stating how disappointed i was that they didn't have the technology to be able to cancel a subscription after 14 days and that i would have to wait to 2023.

I had a phone call first thing Tuesday morning and it was all sorted by Tuesday afternoon, they were brilliant. They have even refunded me the first subscription which i was happy to loose. It just goes to show what can be done when you get in touch with the right department/person.
