Do the oil change yourself, it has to be one of the easiest you'll ever do as it's all done from the top of the engine. You'll need to get a vacuum device (plenty available at reasonable cost) oil filter is easy to access too. Thumbs Up 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

Must admit I stopped doing my own car services once we got a Freelander in 2000, mostly as peeps do ask for dealer stamps on the service books, plus the vehicles do feel extra potent right after a certified LR/RR dealer has done a service... probably they add something to injectors or fuel to make you think so... Laughing
Mostly this time round I was considering parting with it this year, and so wanted the LR/RR stamp on the service book. I just sorted out the water in the rear light cluster though, so I'm pleased with that at least... Rolling with laughter
I know that most services for these beasties on the tube of you at least have the oil exiting via the sump plug, and my mid service yearly oil changer does that also.
Good that you get down and dirty though...
Still awaiting a new stop-start button which handily is a 5-minutes job also... Thumbs Up

Thanks.

I will do in-between LR Schedules when the milages go up. I have and oil filter and did have oil, but used it on my other cars. I have a Hymer Motorhome, An MB Sprinter van, two Toyota Previas and an Audi. I carry out the oil services on those.

May I ask what oil you use Denni?

Yes, I have chosen Land Rover to do the Job.

Their quote is not much more than the independents.
People look for Main Dealer Stamps when shopping (I may be selling soon).
I can walk from/to the LR Garage.

Very Happy

NO

Local Specialists

I had seen some JLR Original Discs on Ebay £80 a set but would take a time too get them, so.

The specialist fitted these
