New LR Approved Used Web Site Lay Out

Just been on the LR approved used site.
The lay out is changed.
Got fed up selecting all the things it wanted me to fill in so did not bother.
I don't know if it is just me but I found it to be completely non user friendly.

It's pretty bad. Filtering is awful. Far too slow. I'm glad I'm not looking at the moment.

I hate the way it insists on wanting your postcode and then sorts the cars by nearest. It's obviously designed to push you toward whatever stock your nearest dealer has and not the spec you actually want.

When I was looking for my L405 a couple of months back I had 3 filters - Range Rover, Autobiography, 2017-2018. Very quick and simple.

Search for MY17 and you get MY16 cars. Try and filter on engine and you get a choice of 2, 3, 4 or 5 whatever they're supposed to mean.

It's like a work in progress for a trainee web developer and looks very unfinished Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

Spent a bit of time on Approved Used site recently and the old site was pretty poor and slow, but this new one is awful.

Once you actually get into the site, once past the finance options, then there is no logic to the filter options down the side, why is mileage and features more important than the engine size, and why can't they put the proper engine values/names in. I did like the way the old site allowed the dealer to highlight the options on the car - I can't see that here - I have to search for them.

Its pretty poor to be honest, hopefully as Rob says this is just a work in progress. Current Fleet:-

Some of the filters are slightly better than before and I find it easier to browse photos from the front screen.

Everything else however seems to be a very big step backwards - especially the terrible speed and the much reduced sorting options. Shame. 2016 SDV8 AB

I just had a look and although it's far too fussy, asking for too much info before you get to the nitty gritty, it was quite fast loading and I live in the sticks ! Whistle All LR cars from 1984

Gave up with this on mobile in the end and had to resort to the laptop.

Feel like this has been designed by a ‘committee’ where every man and their dog has had some input and this is the end result.

So dont create an account and login......you wont even get the search to show you a page then!!!

As a computer software designer to trade this is trying to do too much.......but whoever is user testing this needs their backside kicked right out the door as its awful!!!

Gave up last night and resorted to just calling a dealer this morning about a car!! The complete opposite of what the website is supposed to do!! all smug in my new plug!
