AB would originally have been registered in God’s own county of Worcestershire. The local plod there used to have an unmarked P6 Rover 3.5 with a reg no of AB1. That would look good on a fully loaded FFRR |

The best plates I ever saw were on a pair of cars parked in front of a house on the corner of Milman's Street and the Chelsea Embankment in London, with a view of the Thames.
