Does anyone have a P400 out there?

Looking for some opinions on the engine in an L405, most of the online reviews are US based. Can't stretch to a P525 but looking at alternatives to the 4.4 TDV8.

I read that and I've also seen some reviews online but they seem to be US and I wondered whether anyone on the forum had been attracted to one instead of a D300/D350.

The P400 sounded a bit rough on tick-over but not bad on the move, not raucous to the level of the old 3.0 S/C though.
