Well my sacred SC has now to be turned into a temporary dog transporter whilst I have to take the D3 off the road for some other TLC.
Any recommendations for the dog guard? I have a Trevall in the D3 but cannot seem to find the corresponding FFRR number?
And also for a decent liner?

'm looking more at the half-guard, similar to my D3 set-up.
I'm also looking, after the search in the forum for a "hatch-bag" type liner.

If anyone has any thoughts on this I would be interested. I have a pretty nice looking carpet in my boot and I would like to keep it that way...

I'm thinking hard tray and some sort of fabric curtain to go around the sides.

I have reclining rear seats so I understand I need to get a specific half-height guard if I want one?

I only need it to stop tall loads coming forward into the cabin if I have to brake suddenly.

I’ve got an official Land Rover rubber soft cover over my luxury carpet in the boot. Seems to do the trick for our Labrador retriever.

I prefer a cage/crate but have a Hatchbag liner with the LR flexible mat over it.

I like a crate too. But to my surprise his crate doesn’t fit in the back of the FFRR. It was perfect in our Mercedes GLS but the Range Rover is too small to put it length wise. And if I was to put it sideways then it becomes awkward with the rest of the luggage. Hence I had to buy what was linked above.

For my last 2 cars I have ordered custom made liners from www.overthetop.co.uk

They do a lovely quilted waterproof liner which is machine washable. The liner for my 405 turned up this afternoon, and as soon as I have it fitted I'll post some pics here.

Cost was £250 inc delivery, and as I used one of their seat covers in my last car for 7 years and it never looked tatty, I would call that good value.

Depending on the dog(s) that may even be an overkill
But this should keep your post-trip cleaning to a minimum, even if you've got two labs who'd had a go in mud
It's probably also worth considering a thick polyester blanket/bed cover for the tailgate. I like the ones from Ikea. Dogs claws are not as sharp and tough as may seem at first, they are not wolverines! A rubber mat for the tailgate may get in a way.

At most you'll get a barely visible scratch on a plastic if you don't cover it with anything. If you go the bare route, depending on the dog, you may want to put a blanket over the rear seats, so the dog doesn't accidentally scratch the leather.

The blanket for the tailgate is to make it psychologically easier for the dog and protect the carpets from water/mud/sand/dirt. If the dog is fairly clean, i.e. not after a long walk in the rain, you don't really need anything for the cargo space, maybe a blanket or a dog bed to keep the pooch happy.

Be prepared to help the dog up - RR is quite high, if a particular dog isn't used to jumping into cars, it may require a bit of negotiation with treats, or plain old catch and carry  2009 Range Rover Westminster 3.6 TDV8 Alaska White/Jet
