HELP air suspension errors TD6

Hi all
Today I gave my compressor a much needed overhaul...
New piston kit as well as some new beads in the air dryer filter.
Had some help from our friendly assistant...youtube. Very Happy

After getting it all back together and refitting into car I,m now getting
heap of errors. Big Cry

IID tool errors are:

0X8 High Pressure Exhaust Valve fault
18 Exhaust Valve Supply Fault
0X24 Compressor Temp Sensor fault
0X7 Exhauslt Valve fault
076 Reservoir Pressure Drops when filling

Any help getting my beast back to normal greatly appreciated.

btw, always park it in access mode, so backside is miles high, front is as low as she will go. Big Cry

My best guess at this one is -
If you did not have these faults prior to the comp over haul, is that you may have made a mistake during said work. Easy thing to do.Seems like a bit of a coincidence.

No offence meant, I am a marine engineer of advanced years Whistle . and know full well, we ALL make the odd booboo.

A wild guess but that lot sounds like it's trying to suck air out of the system and inflate the world...!!!

I can't remember on your model but can you get the inlet and outlet the wrong way round...!!

I take it you have tried to reset the system with the IID Thumbs Up Pete

Can't remember off hand, there is a setting in there somewhere, read through the user manual...

Can you swap the inlet and exhaust, or are they different..?? Pete

me thinks there different as there are 2 different size hoses.

If I could find a schemantic of the where the hoses go,that will help,
as I,ve looked on the web and cant find anything.

Also I,ve been out pulling it apart again and putting it back in.

Same codes as before but at least the arse end is stuck up in the air anymore.

Think there both on transport mode now.

I,ll have to find the GAP handbook that I downloaded ages ago and go thru that as the next step.

I was hoping to fix it this morning as I have a hospital appt later in the morning and its a 3/4 hr drive to get there.
Instead I have a early toyota rav manual to drive with a Censored gearbox. Whistle

When I reconditioned the compressor on my VSE a few years ago it failed within a couple of weeks forcing me to do the job again. I seem to remember it giving me similar fault codes at the time.
Seeing no obvious reason why it should have given up again so soon I stripped the compressor parts down a little further than normally required to investigate what I may have done wrong and in the process discovered a tiny little wadding filter, probably about 4mm in diameter, which if I remember correctly was somewhere near the exhaust air exit side of things. This filter had become blocked with what seemed like dust and particles from the original piston seal breaking down.
As I had replaced the desiccant in the drier unit for the compressor at the same time I had the old 2” filter discs which fit inside there available and managed to fabricate a replacement one using a clean piece of one of them.
It was fiddly to cut such a small piece but once all replaced it cured all my issues.
Sorry I can’t be more specific about it’s location but it was a few years ago now. Should have taken pictures in hindsight. 2012 Westminster TDV8 4.4 Indus Silver

Having pulled it apart quite a few times its now on the bump stops. Big Cry
The compressor loses air as its trying to fill. Big Cry

Talking to an indy he said that he doesnt refurb them,he just puts a new one in. Censored

Have ordered new one from UK and also the relay.

Question
Where does the relay go....
There is 3 yellow and one black relay in the rear fuse box area, is this where it goes above the fuses.
According to Rave, there is only 2 fuses, one in the front and a 50a fuse in the rear( both are good)

TIA

Can anyone tell me where the Fuse YWB101300 goes.

Its for the air compressor on a 2003 TD6.

I have 2 versions of RAVE and neither of then shows where it goes.

TIA

Try this, this was all I could find on the net, do not know if applicable to your car, mines a 2006, but do not know some of the differences. Have tried to look in wiki, but cannot download some of the info from some links - my laptop is almost as old as me Whistle

Edit - also shows relays.

G'Day Littlecub
No wurries mate Rolling with laughter

Hope that is the right info and that all is now OK.

Looked up your place on the net, nice place to be, been to Aussie quite a few times and been through the Bass Strait a few years ago, when I worked on Cape size Bulkers carrying iron ore / coal, that bit of sea can get VERY interesting, VERY quickly, the ferry crossing must be interesting in winter Thumbs Up

Hi Merchy,
Yeah that link is great.

Yes Bass Straight can get very interesting at times,I have been crossing in 3-4mtr
swells as well as dead calm. Summer is worse than winter for the large swells, more of them,
but it depends on what the weather is doing in the rest of the country ie, el nino or la nina (drought or flooding rains).

The Tas govt here is supposed to be signing off on new ferries but who knows when that will be.
We were getting them built somewhere in Europe, but when the pandemic hit they canned it and
havent signed a contract since.

Maybe after our state election early May they might just pull there finger out and sign a contract.

Take care
