What a great man. Said it as it was, not always PC enough for the modern world (more of an age/era thing IMHO), a good man who gave up his amazing career for his wife and Great Britain.

I loved seeing some of the old footage today how even the queen was a acknowledging his “lack of opinions”. It shows a great sense of humor and affection between them.

Funny that his sisters mostly married German Princes who fought on the German side during the war (one was a member of the NSDAP, another a member of the SS), yet his mother rescued Jews from the Nazi's in Greece. |
