There was a national news item from the AA today about people not needing SUV’s yet buying them more than ever. Although the majority are fake suvs as in 2wd.

For me it’s the space, and comfort. Otherwise they’d need to make an S class estate or something.

I don’t see a problem with it. They are big and comfy.

Surely the idea is that you have the ability to go just about anywhere and that knowledge is what owning a fatty is about, even if you never do...

There was talk of the 405 replacement being on road only and no low box but I think they decided against it... Pete

So, a bit of an update on my off-road "successes" with my L322.
Day out at Slindon and I manage to put a bloody great hole in the sidewall of a less than 100 mile-old Grabber AT3
