Hi all,

Just as I was about to sell my car one of the front suspension airbags decided it had had enough. I don't want to do half a job to rectify this just because I am selling so will replace both front struts as whole units and plan to use Delphi parts. The car is a 2010 4.4 TDV8 with variable damping.

I'm running into issues with part numbers though. Island 4x4 suggests these are the units that match:

LR032560

However, the independent specialist I would usually use is adamant I need part numbers LR028533 and LR028532. Those part numbers seem to be LR only and cost a fortune, one reference seems to suggest they are for armoured vehicles which mine definitely isn't!

I did take a picture of the label on the existing LH strut which when searching for the numbers on it seems to match the Island 4x4 references as below:

Island 4x4 have just replied confirming the part numbers I linked to above are correct for my car so I have no idea why my specialist is convinced they are wrong but hopefully this thread might help somebody else in the future.
