So decided to brave the diesel leak on the L322 TD6 2004 today.
Car drove and started fine but had a diesel Leak from one of the 3 High Pressure fuel Pump heads.
No other symptoms at all

Today, Removed, seal kitted and replaced the 3 pump heads today. All seamed to go quite easy I thought.

Car now starts fine. No leaks. but at 3500rpm I get a “Fuel Injection system” fault and loss of power.

Icarsoft shows it as “Fuel Rail Pressure Implausible”. It clears with icarsoft and drives fine again until 3500 rpm again?

Anyone any ideas where to start?

This issue never exhausted before. I’ve double checked the electrical connectors. It had an inline pump (in front of rear wheel) a few weeks ago

A total guess but maybe the new pump has raised the pressure and knocked out the pressure sensor which now thinks something is wrong so drops into restricted performance...

If you can find the right part in the workshop manual it will probably have a work through for that fault code though...  Pete
